UADY has relevant and quality programs



-Reaccreditation of the degrees in Social Anthropology and Archeology of the Faculty of Anthropological Sciences


Mérida, Yucatán, May 29, 2019.- For qualifying as quality educational programs, innovative and above all comprehensive training, with human focus and social commitment, the degrees in Social Anthropology, and Archeology of the Faculty of Anthropological Sciences of the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY), obtained its reaccreditation before the Association for the Accreditation and Certification in Social Sciences (ACCECISO).

During the event, the Rector José de Jesús Williams recognized the performance of the students for the contribution they made, congratulated the academics, researchers and administrative and manual staff, because this recognition reflects the coordinated and committed work of the entire community.


"With this type of actions, the UADY advances its strategic objectives as part of the Institutional Development Plan (PDI), whose vision for 2022 is to be an recognized as the institution of higher education in Mexico with the highest level of relevance and social transcendence ".

In presenting the reaccreditation, Hilda Aburto Muñoz, Representative of the ACCECISO informed that in order to achieve this recognition, the Association qualified several areas such as academic staff, students, curriculum, comprehensive training and research, among others.

"This places the UADY and the Faculty of Anthropological Sciences at the forefront nationally for their quality and discipline. These reacreditaciones shows that the programs are well built, prepared and enabled to fulfill their responsibility" he said.
